Job Description

Looking for an Information Technology Specialist who will be responsible for managing & administering various Cloud based computing solutions. Good experience in working with Azure, AWS, Windows server, patching tools, server hardware (blade as well as rack) troubleshooting as well as configuration. Manage the subscriptions, cloud account, IAM’s, Network configurations, delegations and keep configurations in order. Working in collaboration with IT Management to ensure operational security, maintenance and governance.
Responsibilities

A Cloud Systems Administrator is responsible for working in a mixed Windows and Unix software environment. The responsibility of the individual is to manage the instances of the cloud infrastructure services and the multiple cloud servers. The professional also leads, oversees and maintains, multiuser computing environment as per the requirements of the organization. The individual in this position must have strong technical knowledge of virtual machines (IaaS, Writing Code (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).
The cloud systems administrator will have to develop, configure, implement and manage the systems that comprise the underlying cloud platform. The professional assists in setting up public or private cloud systems. They need to know how to balance workload and deploy them in an automated way. The individual should monitor and alter the systems as per the prescribed methodology.
The Cloud System Administrator is the one who establishes and executes the cloud operations as per the specifications and parameters. They should select the cloud providers as well keeping in mind the requirements. The technicians must implement cost-effective cloud-based systems that will fulfill the technical requirements of the organization.
Skills

Experience should include but not limited to:
  • Must have earlier Installed, Configured, troubleshooting of Azure Compute instances, Azure Backup, Azure Storage Monitor, snapshot, Azure Storage, VNet, Load Balancers and RBAC
  • Must have a hands-on experience of system administration of Windows server-side infrastructure and associated technologies On Physical servers
  • Added and removed Windows server features and roles such as Terminal servers (RDS), DNS, DHCP, etc
  • Design, implement and troubleshoot Azure Site Recovery, AD FS, Express Route, Automation of deployment using PowerShell
  • Windows: Configure and troubleshoot Terminal servers (RDS), Windows Clustering, NLB, DFS, Internal PKI, and Hyper-V. PowerShell cmdlet and scripting
  • Prior experience working at an ISP/Managed Services/IT Services company is preferred, and a background in dealing with global teams and remote teams will be a strong plus.
  • Experience in creating and managing user accounts, roles, delegation, backup and restore etc.
  • Experience in ticket logging and working with Microsoft and other vendor teams for troubleshooting the issues.
  • Experience in migrating accounts from one on-prem to cloud, cloud to cloud.
  • Experience in purchasing the accounts and managing various service levels.
  • Experience in working on MS AZURE AD Sync with organization.
  • Experience in creating mail relay for various applications used in the organization.
  • Experience in Owning activities delivering them End to End, working with team and work independently on various issues.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree in Sciences or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in enterprise level cloud account administration.
  • Understanding of Organizational requirements and adaption to them.
  • Commendable Knowledge on Microsoft Productions and various versions on Windows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate IT concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Practical problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
  • Strong customer communication skills, with theability to communicate clearly with customers and technical personnel inhigh-stress situations

Essential Skills:
  • Must be highly motivated, results focused and act with a high sense of urgency.
  • Results oriented with focus on success and achievement despite obstacles both within and outside of direct control.
