As an Architect, you will be encouraged to think out of the box, experiment with latest technologies and explore their limits. You and your team will also be exposed to business problems across the company as well as multiple clients across the globe that you solve. Moreover, you\u2019re expected to take opportunities to elevate/generalize these into frameworks and best practices.
. Own the design, development and launch of new analytics product from ground-up that is highly scalable, high-volume performing, and reliable, and deliver with speediness and quality.
. Produce high quality software that can perform all the necessary data transformations to populate data into warehouse that is optimized for reporting and analytics.
. Create prototypes, and author detailed component interaction specifications for engineers as well as for non-technical individuals.
. Translate usability and customer findings into design improvements.
. Successfully communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale.
. Work with UI/UX designers to improve and refine product user experience design and consistency.
. Provide technical leadership, driving and performing best engineering practices to initiate, plan, and execute large-scale, cross functional, and company-wide critical programs.

Qualifications
Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
. Related practical experience in product organizations
. Experience with Data Engineering, Big Data Analytics, Data Wearhouse design, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) etc
. Expert knowledge of computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
. Experience in designing and building applications and web services at large scale
. Experience with open source Big Data technology stack like but not limited to Kafka, Redis, Spark, Storm, Map Reduce, HDFS, Elastic Search, Solr, Cassandra, MySQL, Flume, Pig, Hive, Sqoop etc
. A deep understanding of technical and functional design for Databases, Data Warehousing, Analytics, Reporting, and Data Mining areas
. Experience with object-oriented design, database design and SQL, coding, design patterns, and at least two programming languages (Java, C/C++, Python, Go, Scala, R etc.)
. Experience with relational databases (transactional and non-transactional), NoSQL database architecture, and distributed transaction management
. Passion for continuous learning, experimenting, applying and contributing towards cutting edge open source Big Data technologies and software paradigms
. Ability to lead and mentor other engineers
. Start-up experience and/or building products from ground-up
