Roles and Responsibility :

Job Description:
2-3 years of L2 application support experience.
Good knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
Basic Knowledge on programming languages like Java or .Net or Scripting.
1. year of experience to AWS hosting, deployment, configuration
Security related knowledge like firewall, antivirus etc
Good communication skills is desirable
Willing to work in 24x7 shifts
Exposure to DevOps tools will be an added advantage
ITIL Knowledge
Root cause analysis(RCA) for problem tickets
Ticketing tools like service now, Jira experience
Primary Responsibilities:
?Production System health and Alert monitoring with correlation in mind to figure out any progressive or sudden discrepancy.
?Garner the Product knowledge, Production Data Centre Understanding and Application level dependency with Infrastructure/Networking. Apply this to correlation monitoring to derive prudent impact analysis.
?Ensure details of every incident is discussed & shared within the team including knowledge transfer and the creation and maintenance of documentation.
?Work in shifts, to support 24x7 operation of the team.
?Provide out of hours support through an on-call scheme, if need arises.
?Package install, upgrades in different environments
?Creation of ticket and tracking through lifecycle
?Responsible to drive all technical and functional issues towards closure
?L2 support, diagnosis, investigation, resolution, coordination with business, application owners, infrastructure support
?Co-ordinate with L3 support or vendors for application bug/ enhancement requirement.
?Support L3 or Dev team during implementation.
