The fact that employer branding is important for CEO is no longer an eye opening revealation. If anything, employer branding's relevance has increased furthermore. The key question, however, remains. How are Indian CEOs spending their time and money on employer branding, and how are they participating in their organization's employer branding efforts? Are Indian CEOs matching their intent with their efforts and resources toward employer branding?

The June 2014 survey among 85 CEOs in Indian organizations reveals that more than 70 per cent of organizations spend less than 10 per cent of their overall brand budget on employer branding. This indicates a level of unwillingness to take serious steps towards building an employer brand.
