Mechanical Opening and Vacancy in Kerala

It being a tourist destination (God?s Own Country), there are many jobs in Kerala.

Mechanical stream is one of the broadest career discipline and an ever green field. That is why mechanical jobs are always available. Various industries that absorb mechanical engineers are steel plants, oil corporations like ONGC, automotive companies like Maruti, Reliance industries, thermal power stations like NTPC to name a few.

In India, to become a mechanical engineer, one needs to have a mechanical engineering degree like a B.Tech or B.E or have a diploma in engineering. One can also do a course in an engineering trade lfrom the Industrial Training Institute (ITIs) which gives an ITI certificate. This provides many job opportunities like Mechanical draughtsman jobs, Welding & Technician jobs, Service, Fitter and electrician jobs etc.

Prospective candidates can look for passing All India Trade Test (AITT) with an engineering trade to get National Trade Certificate. Graduates those who have knowledge or experience in three-dimensional printing or design work like CAD have better job prospects.

After B.E / B.Tech, one can look into specialized programs and classes, such as control systems, robotics, transport and logistics, cryogenics, fuel technology, automotive engineering, biomechanics, vibration, optics which gives wider scope to get research jobs, scientist jobs and faculty jobs.
