Role Definition : To Strategies and Achieve Sales & Business Development

Objective


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY 

To Achieve Set objective of Sales

To Achieve Set Objective of Client Acquisition

To Achieve Set objective of Revenue

To Meet Market Coverage Plans (Touring)

To Execute Sales Order Process till Delivery.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for Identifying business opportunities.

§ Schedule market coverage plan

§ Collect Database of prospective customers

§ Make cold calls / analyze potential

§ Take references

Responsible for Contacting prospects using all sales Processes,

§ Tele appointments

§ email communications

§ personal visits

Responsible for delivering technical presentations to prospective

customers

§ Get trained on the product portfolio

§ Evaluate requirement and prepare a presentation accordingly

§ Give justification to customer queries

Responsible for Understanding customer requirement & deriving

solution.

§ Understand customer requirements

§ Prepare / evaluate engineering data sheet / URS

§ Co ordinate with principals for verifying requirement

specifications.

§ Attach all required documents and drawings

§ Study and prepare General Assembly (GA)Drawings

Responsible for follow-through of order

§ Offers, Quotations

§ Purchase Order

§ Payments / Mandatory Forms & Documents

Responsible for timely Reporting to the Manager / HOD

§ Daily / weekly / Monthly / Annual Reports

§ Market information

§ Competition Analysis

§ Travel Schedule

Responsible for efficient Coordination with coordinator

§ Offers and requirements

§ technical specifications from principal

§ approval on sale terms

§ PO from Customer

§ Payment follow up & Collection of Payments

Responsible for Active involvement in Marketing activities

§ Exhibitions & Seminars

§ E-Mail Campaigns

§ Brochures

§ Media Ads

Responsible for review of own performance at achieving targets

§ Travel Schedule

§ No of Visits (days)

§ No. of Calls

§ Market Coverage (Area)

§ Business Targets (Revenue + Sales Pipeline)

Working closely with Co-coordinators/ Projects/ Service team till

Project Execution

Any other responsibilities assigned by the management from time to

time.
