VP/ Sr. VP Human Resources

Reporting to the HR head, the incumbent will be responsible for Human Capital Planning & Strategyand Talent Management for business groups.

Key Responsibilities

Human Capital Planning and Strategy The successful candidate will partner with various business groups to build the Talent & HR strategy that most effectively complements business strategy.

o Drive organization resource plans, talent reviews, succession plans, hi potential individual development plans and performance management for assigned business units. Ensure a good balance between individual business unit requirements and across the board HR strategy.
o Design and Deliver innovative communication, engagement & recognition processes.
o Identify & facilitate people and organization effectiveness interventions that improve organization dynamics.
o Drive Hi Po, individual and organization development plans working closely with the business, Head of HR and the L&D team.
o Provide relevant HR expertise and experience to effectively coach / counsel managers & employees. Anticipate & address issues proactively.
o Minimize critical attrition losses by establishing proactive process, relationships and early warning systems.
o Own and interpret HR policy for the organization and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
o Develop and up skill junior resources on the team providing appropriate leadership, counsel, guidance and training customized to individual needs.
o Position the HR function as credible, value adding and a capable business partner.

Talent Management & Acquisition - The successful candidate will help the business place the right candidates in the right jobs from a pool of internal as well as external talent. She/he will deliver effective strategies to attract top talent from within and outside the industry.

o Build line of sight to future talent needs; Have a robust follow up mechanism to fulfil the same.
o Develop a talent strategy for critical roles, map the talent market and apply innovative strategies to engage with diverse talent pools
o Implement a methodology for identifying and tracking critical roles and individuals ensuring adequate organization focus on such roles and individuals.
o Pro-actively build a ready talent pipeline via creative resourcing efforts, innovative programs etc. to stay ahead in the resourcing game
o Manage & market our employer brand as the best place to work (internal & external)
o Manage external talent metrics for assigned business groups such as: Time to Hire,

Cost of Hire & Quality of hire
o Develop common talent assessment parameters ( internal and external)
o Manage senior level talent pipelines for the business
o Support entry level talent programs and MBA hiring when required
o Facilitate annual and mid-year talent review plans in conjunction with business plans
o Own development plans of senior and middle management
o Drive succession plans with internal and external talent pools.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Post Grad in Human Resources from a reputed B School
- 15+ years of solid HR experience and exposure to robust HR processes
- A combination of MNC and Start Up experience preferred
- Prior experience of impactful HR business partnership roles
- Prior experience of talent acquisition, talent management
- Experience with influencing and driving a Culture Change and or Organization Development
