Job Description

Generate sales to achieve maximum profitability against annual sales targets.
Identify and exploit new sales opportunities with existing and potential customers.
Monitor customer accounts within the allocated sales area to ensure that sales potential is fully exploited.
Establish and maintain effective communication links with other company departments to identify all sales opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of all sales activity and prepare regular forecasts to enable effective forward planning.
Maintain awareness of company products and of relevant sales techniques to ensure that the sales role is carried out as effectively as possible.
To attend customer’s timely requirements of service.
Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure that they are provided with all necessary technical support.
Respond to customer complaints and resolve any technical problems to ensure that company products are working effectively and the customer is satisfied with the service provided.
Provide feedback to any relevant company departments about complaints and problems to try to ensure that these do not arise in the future.
Organize site visits and product trials for prospective customers and report results to relevant managers in the company.
Maintain regular contact with the sales and production functions to keep abreast of any developments in products and services.
Maintain an awareness of developments in the fields of product marketing and research to ensure that the company continues to compete effectively.

CUSTOMER INTERFACE:
Internal Customers: Marketing, Supply chain/ Logistics, operations & Technical team.
External Customers: Continuous interaction with Client organization’s (R&D, Purchase, Accounts, Stores & Marketing team). Key Skills:ELIGIBILITY:
Expert at Business Development of Food Additives
Food Science Stream candidates along with any advanced Marketing Degree will be an advantage
Demonstrate superior verbal abilities, negotiation skills, and aptitude to talk both technically with R&D and commercially with purchase team
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Technical Background of Hydrocolloids, Antioxidants, Flavors, Emulsifiers, Enzymes, Phosphates, etc. required

Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in sales
