Job Description
Job Functions
  • Design, develop and test systems software components on Linux and Windows platforms
  • Understand the requirements and assist in defining software architectures
  • Build effective unit tests, integration tests and deployment scripts
  • Communicate with customers and project teams and explain progress on the development effort
Key Skills:
A) Essential Skills:
  • Excellent knowledge and preferably working experience in software development using C, C++, OOA/OOD and STL - on Linux or Windows environments
  • Experience of Windows/Linux driver development
  • Understanding of systems calls, memory management
  • Good understanding of networking concepts
  • Ability to understand and apply advanced data structures and algorithms
  • Hands-on experience with makefile creation and Linux shell scripting
  • Good understanding of SCM tools, such as GIT/Subversion and debugging tools
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new technologies/languages and use them effectively

B) Desired Skills
  • Experience of Windows/Linux driver development 
  • Knowledge of Virtualization environments like VMware, VirtualBox etc.
  • Knowledge of Web application development (using PHP, JavaScript)
