Job Description
Key responsibilities:

The Inside Sales consultant will be ideally responsible for below

a) Lead generation initiatives

b) Converting website leads into enquiries to sales for all B2C customers

c) Converting leads into enquiries for all B2B Enterprise, academic and distribution channel.

d) Ensure follow-up by passing leads to appropriate team members with calls-to action, queries on website, dates, complete profile information, sources, etc.

e) Participate in all marketing initiatives and events with an end objective to promote Packt products to varied customers

f) Make outbound follow-up calls/send emails to existing clients to cross-sell and up-sell.

g) Overcome objections/queries of prospective customers/clients where possible or redirecting the same to concerned teams

h) Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database.

i) Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position.

Prerequisites to apply:

Two to three years of direct work experience in a sales or telesales capacity.

Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.

Exceptional verbal communication

Strong written communication skills.

Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm

High level of integrity and work ethic.

Experience with customer relationship management software and Microsoft Office

Experience in preparing call scripts to target B2B contacts with specific role based messaging is a plus Experience in selling software to B2B marketers is a plus
