Job Description
A. Implementation of sales plan and achieving sales targets.

a. Achieving sales targets. Achieving other targets specified by NSM.

b. Setting territory wise targets for PSO’s and procure written commitment.

c. Regular field work with all PSO’s in a month and monitors their field activity, customer conversion and retention.

d. Product wise primary and secondary sales targets and assessment for achievement

e. Prepare standard tour plan and fare chart

f. Demonstrate how to effectively carry out field activities like detailing, objection handling, customer conversion and retention, order booking, RCPA, chemists visit and product availability and handling distribution.

g. Convey the promotional plan to PSO, provide basic training and demonstrate the implementation in the field.

h. Ensure regular visit to the doctors by PSO’s according to the TP.

i. Monitor PSO’s regarding implementation of strategies, their regular field work and reporting to keep them productive.

j. Conducting regular regional meetings in co-ordination with NSM

k. Ensuring the timely availability of promotional inputs & other marketing aids in co-ordination with NSM and SCM

l. Conducting promotional activities in co-ordination with NSM

m. Prompt primary orders and maintain stock positions and collection at distributor level.

n. Product availability at retail counter, personal order bookings, secondary and collection from stockiest

o. Liaisonning and regulatory interactions with the government & private organizations/institutions in co-ordinations with NSM

p. Should ensure the collection of company property from the field staff at the time of separation and send it HO

q. Certify the goods for damage, expiry or dumping in co-ordination with NSM before goods return

B. Additional responsibilities to achieve sales targets and welfare of the team

a. Coordination with HQ through NSM.

i. Create necessary documents for regarding expansions of territories and new product launches.

ii. Developing product wise RSP Quarterly.

iii. Salary, expense and other accounts related issues (HR/Accounts)

iv. Regulatory issues regarding field force like PF, ESI, PT, IT etc. (HR/Accounts).

v. Assist HR in field force recruitment, training and induction and separation.

vi. Assist HR in field force performance assessments and appraisals

vii. Provide inputs to PMT regarding market feedback (PMT).

viii. Understand and solve field force grievances and issues through colleagues (HR)

ix. Coordinate with field force to identify potential employees for higher positions and coordinating with HR for their training and development. (HR)

x. Active involvement with HR and colleagues in retention of valuable employees. (HR)

b. Ensuring systems and best practices in field.

i. Ensure adherence of field force to company policies and systems

ii. Coordinate with HR to review and improve the policies and procedures related to field force through NSM.

c. Competitor data from field.

i. Collecting the competitors data or any other market inputs to PMT as and when requested or found

ii. Defining and achieving data collection targets about competitors in coordination with product management department through NSM.
