Oversee all shipping liner business activities in the assigned region including sub branches.
Responsible for Gujarat/Chennai region Business Plan, Budgets and Commercial Planning, Sales and Marketing, Strategy, Operations and Process Management.
-Planning and coordinating all operations activities in all aspects of shipping services for timely delivery to customer and other stake holders;
-Responsible for the management of sales plans, promote and drive growth by selling additional products and services;
-Networking and identifying key growth sectors in the region;
-Drive the existing business strategy for end to end, Land Side Services (LSS), Air freight and Ocean freight (OCE) development;
-Ensure that the company is represented at the main trade fairs and events and that this results in new business;
-Target and find the key business methods and developing the business strategy for a long term business success, partnership, and customer retention;
-Plan and target the financial/volume and new business;
-Ensuring continuous review and improvements of operational processes to ensure accuracy and compliance. Oversee daily monitoring efforts to ensure productivity objectives meet company/departmental standards.
-Must have an extensive experience in shipping commercial operations, having worked in a similar capacity as Branch head/ Regional Manager. Candidates should have 8-12 years of experience in Port Operations, handling vessels, RORO and container operations.
-A professional management degree or post graduate in management or Certified Master Mariner
-Must possess leadership and management skills with a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks and resources appropriately;
-Commercial experience in a shipping agency;
-Strong command in managing quotes and closing deals effectively;

Follow up with HUB for policy issuance of pending cases
