Institutional Sales Manager

This is a long-term position offering stability and an excellent opportunity in the fast-growing wine industry in India. Candidate will get an opportunity to be a leader & become a recognized professional in the wine business with a leading importer and wine brands of the country.

The role is for the Sales Manager, who will help the company grow its network by partnering with TASMAC and on-premise outlets such as Institutional Clients, Five Stars, Premium/ High end Hotels /Restaurants/ Bars/ Clubs thereby helping service clients as well as increase product presence.

The Candidate shall be required to pitch to the above mentioned sales channels, developing relationships with our trade partners, focusing on ways to place our portfolio, drive sales at venues and helping deliver Gustos goal of bringing the best wines from the world to customers in India.

The selected Candidates will work on following during the Role:

Identifying key prospective points of sales at High end Restaurants and hotels, Five Stars, Bars & Clubs

Pitch to restaurants and hotels to list and sell our product

Generate revenue from the said trade channels

Identify ways to cross sell and upsell customers to increase revenue and brand penetration

Track Key accounts for the company and mine them for greater share of imported wines spends

Daily profile will be following to visit clients (restaurants and hotels), negotiate, market brands and generate orders.

The role is very target-oriented as well as relationship-oriented

Location: Chennai

Who can apply:

Any person either a BMS/ Bcom/ Graduate / Post Graduate degree must be self-motivated, driven and with good academic records. Depending on the candidate's experience and commitment, salary will be negotiable. However, candidate will have to be a self-starter and is expected to grow with the company

Should be based in Chennai

The person should have undertaken a similar role in Chennai

Must be someone from liquor industry who has contacts in 5 star properties, Retail will also be his responsibility but 5 star exposure is pre-requirement.

Knowledge of liquor and wine industry is a must

Preference will be given to marketing graduates, liquor background and strong communication skills in English language.

Should have at least 3+ years of experience

Skill(s) required: MS-Office, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Excel and English Proficiency (Spoken) and English Proficiency (Written).

The candidate must be fluently speak,read and write Tamil
