Job Description
Objective of this position:

1) To Approach new customers and prospect business for the company by exploring business opportunities

2) Build and direct a team to targeted sales closures on a monthly basis

3) Sell Listing space and Software as Service through displaying product efficiency

Business Development Management :

a) OUTBOUND SALES:

1. Building Pipeline through networking and collaborations.

2. Targeting Onshore activities/summer camp/classes/extracurricular activities to register with the portal

3. Train and organize callers to close sales with unorganized extra curriculum trainers

4. Educate classes owners to expand their business through Activity Hero Association

b) INBOUND SALES:

1. Tracking Inbound leads and assigning them to team members.

2. Bifurcate target markets and assign resource from the BD team accordingly.

3. Collaborate both Indian & American efforts of sales to close contracts.

4. Organize demonstration of Activity Hero product to leverage ease of running classes

c) Team Management - Responsible for leading a Business Development team includes:

1. Setting targets for team members.

2. Getting Daily reporting from them.

3. Preparing Lead status after a discussion with them.

4. Handling 2nd level of calls for potential clients.

5. Reporting to US promoters on a weekly/ monthly basis about Sales progress

d) Corporate Tie-Ups

1. Create a database of organized activity providers, engage for larger tie-ups

2. Organize onshore meeting for US associates to have mass closures on the corporate end

3. Derive Value based solution-ing for these tie ups for maximum benefit to both parties

4. May travel to US for high level discussions

Research & Development:

1) Developing integration plans when clients are multi-location/ multi-platform requirements

2) To maintain in-depth knowledge of summer camps, extracurricular activities, its technicalities, competitors, and industry trends.

3) To develop and maintain competitive knowledge on industries and products to leverage in sales cycle.

4) To help create pre-sales requirements like Proposals, Presentations and other marketing material

5) Guide research efforts when required by team and partners to close contracts

Pre-requisites:

1) Excellent Communication written and oral for US clientele.

2) Team Management skills must be excellent to manage a diversified team.

3) Added Advantage if candidate understands and can oversee Web promotions through Social Media, SEO and mailers as well

Note Candidate will have to visit US for training and imbibing company culture. Candidate will be responsible of training and hiring of India Team.
