Regular customer interactions by phone, E-mail and visits.
Lead, visit and cost management for the department.
Keeping track of new developments in markets and selling opportunities.
Tracking competitors activity and countering with in house activity.
Following up with user/end customers for their feedback on the quotes and products
Making contact in purchase, electrical, design and purchasing department at potential customer sites.
To assure annual growth rate of 20% in sales YOY basis.
Participating and organising technical seminars, exhibitions and user interaction.
On time MIS reports such as weekly plans, monthly sales reports, stock projections and annual sales budgets.
Ensuring proper follow ups in sales department.
Organisation and participation in events/seminars/exhibitions/training programmes.
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
Individual visit per week in home market visits in Bellary & Hospet.
Visits with external sales persons-Visit in O/S- Minimum 2 steel plant per month.
Direct handling of Steel mill manufacturers spread across India.
Achieving yearly sales objectives.
New customer additions and sales expansion with existing customers.
Sales budget for the department.
Leading the team from front/leading by doing.
Creating cross selling opportunities for other departments.
Hard working/Smart thinking, Owneship of the sales process.
Working knowledge in MS-Excel, power point & ERP systems is a must.
Excellent communication skills- both written and oral
(Hindi, English & one regional language) in addition to working knowledge of Kannada.
