Job Description


Designation : Assistant Manager- Supply Chain Management & Vendor Development

Education : BE (Mechanical Engineering)

Experience : 5-7 years

Requirement:

Should have experience in conducting Capacity Analysis at Supplier

Should have knowledge about Modern Manufacturing Techniques like Progressive, Compound tooling for stamping and latest Machining Processes.

Should have knowledge of APQP for part development and conduct PTR (Production Trail Run) at supplier

Should have knowledge of ZERO BASED COSTING ? majorly in Sheet Metal.

On Time Development of parts as per Projects Timelines.

Cost Reduction initiatives through VAVE ideas Implementation; Localization of parts, Stage reduction / Alternate Process / Material.

Continual Quality Improvement, support certification process according to ISO 9001 and TS16949

Should have knowledge of conducting process, product & system audits at supplier & report preparation & closure.

Should have knowledge of measuring instruments and can take decisions for tooling modification to meet quality norms as per drawing.

Should have knowledge of Process like:

- Plating
- Heat Treatment
- Brazing
- Welding

Other required skills :

Process Oriented Approach

Conflict management following win-win strategy.

Ability to lead Multi disciplinary teams effectively

Strong leadership skills

Team player with networking ability

Negotiation & Communication Skills.

Strong business acumen

At least 3 years experience in dealing with top management

Proficient in Excel, PPT

Person should have his own vehicle for travelling
