You will play a key role in inspiring and developing a team that maximizes sales, product visibility and best in class display by leveraging planned resources and infrastructure at Area level within the values and parameters set by the company. While you are at it youll be building your network and expertise in a thriving environment of professional development and teamwork. WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

In your role as a Modern Trade-ASM, you will be part of our success by:
  • Anchoring achievement of Volume and Value targets by Month, QTR & Year
  • Leading the Modern Trade team to best in class Sales, Execution and distribution in the area
  • Pioneering executional excellence by building sales capabilities through coaching of field force
  • Achieving control targets in terms of FG&A and overheads.
  • Ensuring the right caliber people are motivated and trained to achieve ambitious business plans consistently.
  • Leading negotiations with Key accounts on yearly terms of trade and execute plans in Modern trade.
  • Demonstrating exemplary leadership behavior by providing return on investment to stakeholders through continuous monitoring of agreed norms and service levels
  • Leading executional excellence in assigned Accounts by collaborating with National Key Accounts team

WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Modern Trade, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:

Essential:
  • MBA from Premier B School
  • Excellent understanding of Sales, Methods & Processes
  • Fluent in English language
  • PC Literate
  • Minimum 4 yrs. of Sales experience in a FMCG environment having managed front line sales team as ASM.
  • Understand various evolving channels of trade


What Else Do I Need To Know?
  • Reports to - The hiring manager is Regional Sales Manager
  • Reportee - AM and TSI.
  • Job involves close to 18 days of field contact at an area level. High physical energy is important.


The ability to work a full shift, come to work on time, work overtime as needed and the ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position.
